Friends and followers gathered en masse last Friday evening to attend the last picture show at the studio on Wagenstraat 179 in The Hague. They were all gladly surprised by the number of new works shown onto the weary moist stained walls, and even more so by the lively quality of them. “Erwin goes really well” said fellow artist and long time friend Reinder van der Woude from Amsterdam.

For the first time, Erwin de Hart will unveil his ceramic work. Voorburg – an historical town, close to The Hague – has the premiere; Galerie Kunstraam devotes half of their exhibition space as well as the front window to the artists’ bisque baked tablets. As compared to his rainbow coloured paintings, these ceramics seem to come from another planet.
