Friends and followers gathered en masse last Friday evening to attend the last picture show at the studio on Wagenstraat 179 in The Hague. They were all gladly surprised by the number of new works shown onto the weary moist stained walls, and even more so by the lively quality of them. “Erwin goes really well” said fellow artist and long time friend Reinder van der Woude from Amsterdam.

When night fell, the neon exhibition lights went down to surrender to an enchanting candle lit social event, as the crowd slipped gradually into an alcohol fuelled and intimate get-together, around the red and white chequered table clothed door on shrugs.
